Cardiff Half Marathon is the second-largest half marathon in the UK – and you could be part of this incredible experience with us! Just like last year, our exclusive charity places for the 2027 Cardiff Half Marathon will be allocated through an expression of interest registration process. Register now and we’ll be in contact on 22nd October to update your on your application.

In 2026, 300 dedicated Velindre runners took on the Cardiff Half Marathon raising vital funds for our Hospital of Hope.
With so many incredible motivations, stories, and inspirations, every step was immensly special to us. It was a truly magical day – and we can’t wait to do it all over again in 2027. We are pleased to offer our highest number of charity spaces ever with an aim of raising a record number of donations.

Your £300 fundraising would allow us to fund 6 hours of specialist counselling sessions.
In turn, it helps patients process their emotions, come to terms with their diagnosis, and feel empowered as they navigate their cancer pathway.
