We invite you to join us at our 2026 Christmas Concert in the community!
Step into the spirit of the season and join us for a heart-warming evening of festive cheer at the Velindre Cancer Charity Christmas Concert. A magical celebration of music, hope, and community spirit.
At the 4-star Heritage Park Hotel in Pontypridd, Velindre’s christmas celebration will include exclusive musical performances from talented Welsh artists and choirs, guest speakers, and complimentary mulled wine and mince pies on arrival. The perfect Christmas event to get you in the festive mood!
What to expect
- An exclusive performance from Welsh Harpist, Catrin Finch who was the official Royal Harpist for the Prince of Wales.
- Hosted by West-End actress and singer Connie Fisher.
- An evening full of music and performances from Welsh choirs and singers alike, including Rachel Stevens, Travis George, Pendyrus Male Voice Choir, Ysgol Gynradd Llwyncelyn’s school choir and Sofia Caswell.
- A complementary mince pie and drink of choice (mulled wine or soft drink) on arrival.

The Heritage Park Hotel is a fully accessible venue.
The Christmas Concert will take place in a ground-floor room, with accessible toilets located on the same level. The venue is fully accessible to all wheelchair users.

Thanks to your fundraising, Velindre provides resources that support patients during their time at the Hospital.
Your £15 ticket donation to our Christmas Concert can provide children at Velindre with:
- A lion teddy bear that provides comfort to children and parents/grandparents going through treatment.
- Specialist education books that explain a family member’s cancer diagnosis.
- Worry monster therapeutic tools designed to help children express and manage their worries by externalizing them in a safe, tangible way.
- A VIP tour with a specialist nurse ahead of their family member’s treatment to reduce anxieties about the hospital environment.
Your donation could also provide an inpatient with an overnight care pack containing toiletries, pyjamas and essentials to make their stay more comfortable.
