We have 4 spaces to offer our amazing supporters to be a part of London Marathon 2027.
Since 2010, 107 committed runners have crossed the London Marathon finish line in support of Velindre and have raised over £104,000 for Velindre!
These funds have had significant impact allowing us to fund a state-of-the-art Cardiff Cancer Research Hub, a vital centre for breakthrough clinical trials and life-saving treatments.
How we support you
- You will receive dedicate fundraising support from the Charity Team
- Exclusive entry to our pre-event Pasta Party the evening before the Marathon
- A Velindre Running Vest/T-shirt
- A pair of Velindre Running Socks
- Race pack including spectator guide, race number and timing chip
- Fully closed road and marshalled, city centre route

- An epic finishers medal to commemorate your achievement

In 2025, this life-changing treatment will be introduced in UK clinics, including Velindre, offering new hope to those facing incurable breast cancer. With the potential to double survival times, FAKTION is transforming the future of care and improving the lives of millions of women worldwide.
Collectively, our 2026 London Marathon runners could raise an incredible £16,000 for Velindre Cancer Charity. These funds help us deliver life-changing care and services to cancer patients and their families.
