When Blue Turns Red: blue self storage Supports Velindre Cancer Centre with their ‘Wear Red for Velindre’ Initiative
The team from blue self storage swapped their usual colour for something different on 2nd February 2024 when they took part in our Wear Red for Velindre initiative. Their efforts, along with staff at Euro Commercials and tenants at The Maltings, have raised a total of £521.72.
The money raised will help support our work as the leading provider of radiotherapy and other specialised anti-cancer treatments in Wales. In 2024 we’re aiming to raise a total target of £100,000 – and every effort helps!
Fundraising and donations are critical to help improve the experience and outcomes for patients receiving care and support at Velindre Cancer Centre. This includes funding projects that enhance the quality of care, providing access to cutting-edge treatments, supporting research for new treatment options, purchasing specialised equipment, and funding support services and resources.
It also helps to ensure that our hospital staff have access to the most up-to-date training and techniques available.
