Shane Williams Grand Slam Dinner
Join Ospreys, Wales, British & Irish Lions, Barbarian's legend, and Velindre Patron, Shane Williams for this special celebratory dinner, where we will look back fondly on 2008, Shane's most successful year.
In a year where Wales won the Grand Slam in the Six Nations, thanks to help from his six tries, breaking the all-time Wales try scoring record, Shane also went on to became the first Welshman to be named IRB Player of the Year. A feat which meant beating fellow Welshman Ryan Jones, New Zealand's Dan Carter, Scotland captain Mike Blair, and Italy captain Sergio Parisse. Later that he also won the BBC Cymru Wales Sports Personality of the Year.
Hosted by Shane's former Head Coach at the Ospreys, Sean Holley, he will be joined by team mates James Hook and Lee Byrne to reminisce about those five spectacular games, that led to Shane being named as player of the tournament.
Tickets to join us for this special evening of celebration at The Towers Hotel are just £30 each with tables of 10 available, and include a delicious 3 course meal.
