A Gift in your Will

It is simple to change an existing will – if you wanted to add Velindre Cancer Centre to your will, it can be done using a codicil. This is a legal amendment which will need to be signed and witnessed just like your will. Your solicitor will help you to do this. There are a few types of legacy, the most common two are: Making a will ensures that your loved ones and the causes that matter to you are taken care of. A Gift in your Will - or Legacy donation - gifts of money or assets or even personal possessions left in a supporters will are an absolutley vital source of help for us.
These gifts allow us to plan for the future and secure vital services at the Hospital. Legacies are free of Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax. You are never too young or old to make a will. The sooner you do it, the sooner you can be confident that everything is in order.
